US’ aluminum plate, sheet, strip imports & exports statistics in Aug

According to official statistics from the US, the country’s imports of aluminum plate, sheet, and strip, under HS code 7606, amounted to approximately 63,300 tons in August, dropping by 40.5% compared to the same month a year ago, while the figure kept stable from the previous month.

Among them, the imports were mainly from Canada, China, and Saudi Arabia, with a separate volume of roughly 11,300 tons, 10,800 tons, and 7,200 tons.

In terms of exports, the volume reached approximately 40,000 tons in August, falling by 27.6% compared to the same month a year earlier.

Among them, the main export destinations in August included Canada, Mexico, and South Korea, with a separate volume of around 21,800 tons, 13,200 tons, and 1,300 tons.
