According to the final results of the expedited first sunset review of the countervailing duty (CVD) order, the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) found that revoking the existing CVD order on stainless steel flanges from India would be likely to lead to the continuation or recurrence of countervailable subsidies.

The subsidy rate for Bebitz Flanges Works Private Limited was set at 256.45%, and Echjay Forgings Private Limited and all other Indian producers/exporters are subject to 5.21%.

The products involved are classified under the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS) headings 7307.21.1000 and 7307.21.5000.
The determination was applicable on August 31, 2023.
