US’ HDG exports decrease in Mar

According to statistics from the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), US' total export amount of hot-dip galvanized (HDG) sheet and strip was approximately 92,400 tons in March, down by 13.8% month on month and down by 9.7% year on year.

The export value was around US$96.9 million, down from US$122.5 million in the previous month and down from US$114.5 million in March 2019.

Among them, most of the US' HDG was exported to Canada, totaling around 47,500 tons, down from 54,900 tons in the previous month. Mexico ranked second with around 42,700 tons, followed by other countries with a total lower than 1,000 tons.
