US President Biden is considering withdrawing the 232 tariffs, which was to abolish the 25% tariff on imported steels, and allowing traders to import more preferential prices. According to statistics, the US steel imports in 2020 were 30% less than in 2018. At present, the lead time for hot-dip galvanized coils was more than 11 weeks, while that for galvanized coils was more than 12 weeks. Price increases on hot-dip galvanized and galvanized coils are accelerating.
