On April 16, 2021, the US International Trade Commission (USITC) voted to determine that China’s non-refillable steel cylinders caused material injury to the US industry due to the dumped prices and subsidies from the government, determined by the US Department of Commerce (USDOC).

Based on the affirmative ruling made by the USITC, the USDOC will issue anti-dumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) orders on the subject goods from China.

The products involved are under Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS) subheadings 7311.00.0060 and 7311.00.0090.
