US makes AD & CVD rulings on PC strands from 8 countries

On December 8, the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) announced the finalized anti-dumping (AD) and countervailing (CVD) duties on prestressed concrete steel wire strand (PC strand) from 8 countries.
The final dumping margins of PC strands from the UAE and Saudi Arabia are the highest, which is 170.65% and 194.4% respectively. The final dumping margin of Argentina is 60.4%, Colombia is 86.09%, Egypt is 29.72%, the Netherlands is 30.86%, and Taiwan is 23.89%.
Turkey is subject to an AD duty rate of 53.65%, and the country's CVD rate is 30.78%-158.44%.
For the request of US manufacturers Insteel Wire Products, Sumiden Wire Products, and Wire Mesh Corp., the USDOC initiated the investigation in May.
Meantime, the investigation of AD was conducted on these products from Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, South Africa, Spain, Tunisia, and Ukraine. The final decision date for the investigation is currently set on April 6, 2021.
