According to the preliminary anti-dumping (AD) ruling on aluminum foil made by the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) on April 28, the weighted-average dumping margin for Armenia was set at 188.84%, that for Brazil was at 13.87%-63.05%, Russia was assigned a rate of 62.18%, and Oman was subject to 4.03%.

Meanwhile, Turkey's exporters and producers received a preliminary dumping margin of zero as it was determined that Turkey didn’t make any sales during the period of the investigation.

The investigation covered a period from July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020.

Besides, the USDOC preliminarily decided to impose countervailing duties (CVD) on aluminum foil from Oman and Turkey in March, at a subsidy rate of 2.15% and 2.79%, respectively.
