US’ rig count rises, Canada’s falls

According to the report from Baker Hughes, in the week ending on November 11, the US’ rotary rig count was up by 9 units to 779 units. Among them, the number of drilling rigs for natural gas kept flat at 155 units, and that for oil increased by 9 units week on week to 622 units. The total number had a year-on-year growth of 223 units.
During the same period, Canada’s rig count decreased by 9 units to 200 units compared to the previous week. Canada’s rig number totally increased by 32 units from the same period a year ago.
