US’ steel imports increase in Dec

According to the market in the US, the total imports of steel products showed a 9% increase in December of 2020, with a total of 1.36 million tons of finished steel.

Among them, the main finished steel product was the hot-rolled coil, with around 148,600 tons, which increased by nearly 36% month on month.

Moreover, the main supplied countries for the steel products in the US were South Korea (201,300 tons), Canada (426,700 tons), and Germany (65,600 tons).
