US to start first AD & CVD expiry reviews on China’s stainless sheet and strip

According to Federal Register on February 1, 2022, the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) and the US International Trade Commission (USITC) will start the first five-year sunset reviews of anti-dumping (AD) and countervailing duties (CVD) on stainless sheet and strip from China in March.

These duties were originally imposed in 2017. The petitioners for these cases were Allegheny Technologies Incorporated, North American Stainless, Outokumpu Stainless USA, and AK Steel.
