Vale resumes operations at Viga plant

It was reported that Vale S.A. (Vale), a Brazilian multinational corporation engaged in metals and mining, is going to resume the concentration works at its Viga plant in Congonhas, Minas Gerais after a court decision.

Vale’s works at its Viga's B7 dam was forced to suspend for six days.

Due to the suspension, Vale’s iron ore production reduced by 11,000 tons per day, which meant there were 66,000 tons of decrease in iron ore output at the Viga plant totally.
