WBMS: Global primary aluminum faces short-supply in first 3 months

According to the report from the World Bureau of Metal Statistics (WBMS), the primary aluminum market faced short supply in the first three months of this year, with around 70,000 tons of shortage.

The primary aluminum market has faced a totally different last year, with over a million tons oversupply, but the demand started to skyrocket since this January.

Moreover, the report also indicated that the global demand for primary aluminum in the world this first three months has increased by 8.8%, compared to the same period of last year.
