WTO ruled South Korea’s AD duties on Japan's stainless steel bars is illegal

The World Trade Organization (WTO) announced that it has ruled that South Korea’s decision on extending anti-dumping (AD) duties on stainless steel bars originating in Japan was illegal because the duties didn't comply with WTO rules.

In November 2020, the Korea Fair Trade Commission (KFTC) announced a preliminary decision to extend the 15.39% AD duty imposed on Japan's stainless steel bars for three years.
