Yantai port’s cargo throughput of bauxite ranks first in world

According to statistics, the Port of Yantai’s cargo throughput totaled 367 million tons in 2021, increasing by 8.8% compared to the previous year.
Among them, the throughput of bauxite reached 115 million tons. Yantai port is now the first-largest port of bauxite imports in the world.
A full logistics chain of bauxite from Guinea mine in Africa to Yantai port was built.
