Alro inks MoU with Azeraluminium to explore cooperation possibility

Alro, one of the main aluminum companies in Romania, said on Wednesday that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Azerbaijan’s Azeraluminium for cooperation in raising their technical and economic capabilities.

The two companies will explore the possibility of Alro exporting baked alumina anodes to Azeraluminium, with a planned period of two to five years. Besides, development of a gas-fired power plant on Alro’s site is in their plans, which will help Azeraluminium’s continuous casting coil processing, marketing, and sales in Romania.
