Aluminum may rise to $2,700/ton

Citi maintained its aluminum price forecast at US$2,400/ton for the next 0-3 months. It also predicted that the aluminum price could rise to US$2,700/ton in the condition of a significant recovery in demand or further disruption in supply.

The global primary aluminum market was expected to have a supply gap of 599,000 tons.
