Aperam hikes European stainless steel alloy surcharges for Dec

Aperam, a stainless steel manufacturer bases in Luxembourg, hiked its alloy surcharge for European austenitic stainless steel for December.

The surcharge for 304 (1.4301) was raised to EUR 1,507/ton from November’s EUR 1,456/ton; that for 316 was hiked to EUR 2,173/ton from EUR 2,078/ton in the previous month; that of 309S, used in high-temperature corrosion resistance applications, was increased to EUR 2,058/ton from the previous month’s EUR 1,979/ton; that of ferritic stainless steel 409 was raised to EUR 478/ton from EUR 476/ton of last month.
