Aperam raises European stainless steel alloy surcharges for Jul

Aperam, a stainless steel manufacturer based in Luxembourg, raised its alloy surcharge for European austenitic stainless steel by EUR 70/ton for July.

The surcharge for 304 (1.4301) was hiked to EUR 1,910/ton from June’s EUR 1,865/ton; that for 316 was increased to EUR 2,928/ton from EUR 2,675/ton in the previous month; that of 309S, used in high-temperature corrosion resistance applications, was raised to EUR 2,558/ton from the previous month’s EUR 2,509/ton; that of ferritic stainless steel 409 was hiked to EUR 764/ton from EUR 725/ton of last month.
