Argentina's aluminum ingot exports to rise in 2020

According to statistics, Argentina exported around 492,400 tons of aluminum ingot in 2017, the export volume in 2018 was down by 3.09% year on year to around 477,000 tons, while the export quantity in 2019 was up by 15.75% year on year to roughly 552,300 tons. It was predicted the export volume in 2020 will keep increasing by 11.6% year on year to 616,350 tons.

Argentina mainly exports its aluminum ingot to Belgium, Brazil, China, Israel, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Spain, the US, etc.

Aluar is the only aluminium smelter in Argentina, as well as one of the largest smelter in South America.
