Australia's bauxite exports decrease in Jul

According to statistics, Australia’s bauxite exports totaled around 3.2 million tons in July this year, falling by 9.03% compared to the previous month and also dropping by 14.2% from the same month a year ago.

Among them, the top two export destinations were China (around 3.15 million tons, a month-on-month reduction of 9.26% and a year-on-year decrease of 15.5%) and South Korea (around 49,500 tons).

The export value totaled roughly US$91.83 million during the period, a month-on-month decrease of 8.06% and a year-on-year decline of 14.3%.

In the first seven months of this year, Australia exported a total of roughly 20.89 million tons of bauxite, dropping by 8.46% compared to the same period a year earlier.
