Brazil's Secretariat of Foreign Trade (SECEX) announced to extend the anti-dumping (AD) investigations on high-carbon steel wire imports from China.

The products involved in the first investigation are high-carbon steel wire with high mechanical strength, 3 or 7 strands, and low relaxation, classified under HS code 7312.10.90. The investigation was extended by two months from May 1.

The subject goods in the other investigation are cold-drawn high-carbon, high-resistance steel wires from China, under HS codes 7217.10.19 and 7217.10.90. The final ruling of this case will be announced on June 7.
