Brazilian CSP exports more than 1.5 million tons of steel plates in Jan-Jul of 2020

The Brazilian steelmaker Companhia Siderúrgica do Pecém (CSP) reached a volume of around 1.58 million tons of steel plates exported from January to July of this year, a drop of 3.7% with respect to 1.64 million tons during the same period of the year past.

According to the company, it is currently in full resumption after the impact of the pandemic that was most expressive in April.

In this global context, with severe developments in different areas of the life of people and companies, CSP considered that the result was satisfactory and expressed the resilience of all the technical personnel of the company in the search for the most secure and effective solutions to maintain production with the least possible impact on all aspects.
