It was reported that Brazil’s stainless steel producer Aperam and logistics company VLI have extended their agreement to use VLI’s railways to transport steel. As a result, the demand for trucks required by Aperam South America to deliver steel products to customers would be reduced.

Prior to the extension of the transportation agreement, VLI had assisted Aperam in the delivery of carbon steel products, and it was estimated that VLI could deliver about 300,000 tons of steel products for Aperam this year.
