Brazil’s pig iron exports rise in Feb

According to Brazilian customs statistics, Brazil’s pig iron exports amounted to around 252,000 tons in February this year, falling by 3.23% compared to the previous month while growing by 8.6% from the same month a year ago.

Among them, the exports were mostly to the US, Turkey, and China, with the volume of around 85,000 tons, 6,000 tons, and 38,000 tons, mainly exporting through the Port of Rio de Janeiro, Vitoria, and Sao Luis.
