China’s A00 aluminium ingot price on Tuesday, December 5, declined the graph by RMB 140 per tonne to clock at MB 18,560 per tonne. As per the Shanghai Metals Market (SMM) data, a downfall of RMB 610 per tonne was seen M-o-M from RMB 19,170 per tonne recorded on November 3. Today, the average prices may stand between RMB 18,540 per tonne and RMB 18,580 per tonne, with the spot contract prices expected to be traded at a discount price of RMB 20 to a premium price of RMB 20 per tonne.
The SMM data recorded fall in all the provinces, with the highest in Gongyi, Wuxi and Tianjin, where it contracted by RMB 150 per tonne to reside at RMB 18,670 per tonne, RMB 18,550 per tonne and RMB 18,610 per tonne. As per the SMM data, the domestic aluminium ingot prices in Hangzhou, Linyi and Shenyang have descended by RMB 140 per tonne to peg at RMB 18,560 per tonne, RMB 18,640 per tonne and RMB 18,590 per tonne. On the same day, the prices in Foshan and Chongqing decreased by RMB 130 per tonne and RMB 120 per tonne to come in at RMB 18,680 per tonne and RMB 18,610 per tonne.
The domestic price of low-carbon aluminium has lost RMB 109 per tonne to clock at RMB 19,435 per tonne. As per the data, the high-purity aluminium (99.99%) price and high-purity aluminium (99.996%) price have slumped by RMB 100 per tonne to come in at RMB 26,300 per tonne and RMB 27,300 per tonne.
Today, the price of aluminium alloy (A356) has contracted by RMB 150 per tonne to clock at RMB 19,200 per tonne, with the average prices between RMB 19,000 per tonne and RMB 19,400 per tonne. On the same day, the prices of both (ADC12) and (A380) have lost RMB 50 per tonne to halt at RMB 19,250 per tonne and RMB 20,250 per tonne.
