China’s iron ore price index goes up on May 6

According to the data from China Iron and Steel Association (CISA), China Iron Ore Price Index (CIOPI) was 700.66 points on May 6, which was up by 5.33% or 35.43 points compared with the previous CIOPI on April 30.

The domestic iron ore price index was 526.37 points, rising by 0.47% or 2.48 points compared to the previous price index; the import iron ore price index was 733.62 points, increasing by 6.02% or 41.66 points from the previous one.
