China’s output of aluminum-related products in Apr & Jan-Apr

According to statistics released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) of China, China's alumina output totaled 6.82 million tons in April this year, hiking by 4.6% compared to the same month a year ago.

During the period, China’s output of primary aluminum was 3.36 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 0.3%; that of aluminum products was 5.2 million tons, down by 7% year on year; that of aluminum alloy was 948,000 tons, a year-on-year drop of 1.7%.

In the first four months of this year, China's alumina output amounted to 25.5 million tons, down by 1.5% year on year. The primary output was down by 0.2% year on year to 13 million tons; the aluminum products output slid by 0.6% year on year to 19.23 million tons; the aluminum alloy output increased by 8.1% year on year to 3.55 million tons.
