China’s wholesale & retail sales of new energy vehicles rise in Jul

According to the China Passenger Car Association, China’s wholesale sales volume of new energy passenger vehicles reached 737,000 units in July, falling 3% compared to the previous month and growing by 31% from the same month a year ago.

In the first seven months of this year, the cumulative wholesale sales volume amounted to around 4.28 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 41%.

In terms of retail sales, the volume reached 641,000 units in July, a month-on-month fall of 3.6% and a year-on-year growth of 32%. The retail sales in the first seven months of the year totaled around 3.73 million units, a year-on-year increase of 36%.
