According to statistics, as of January 8, the inventory of zinc ingots in the Shanghai Free-Trade Zone (Shanghai FTZ) totaled 51,000 tons, dropping by 2,500 tons from last Friday.

The reduction was due to a tighter supply in Shanghai, part of zinc imports was shipped out from the Shanghai FTZ to maintain the market flows, leading to a decrease in stocks in the free-trade zone.
