China’s iron ore price index increases on Jan 8

According to the data from China Iron and Steel Association (CISA), China Iron Ore Price Index (CIOPI) was 599.44 points on January 8, which was up by 0.99% or 5.86 points compared with the previous CIOPI on January 7.
The domestic iron ore price index was 445.47 points, rising by 0.53% or 2.36 points compared to the previous price index; the import iron ore price index was 628.54 points, increasing by 1.05% or 6.52 points from the previous one.
