Colombia’s crude steel production drops in Feb

According to statistics from Colombia’s Committee of Steel Producers (ANDI-CPA), the country’s crude steel production totaled around 86,600 tons in February this year, falling by 14.3% compared to the previous month and also dropping by 15% from the same month a year ago.

During the period, Colombia’s long-finished steel production was around 111,400 tons, a month-on-month hike of 5.4% and a year-on-year slight increase of 0.6%.
