Colombia’s ferronickel exports decrease in Jan-Sep

According to the data released by the Colombian National Administrative Department of Statistics (DANE), Colombia exported around 81,700 tons of ferronickel in the first nine months of this year, dropping by 9.1% compared to the same period a year ago. The export value totaled roughly US$383.1 million, a year-on-year increase of 28.1%.

In September alone, Colombia’s ferronickel exports totaled approximately 21,800 tons, a year-on-year hike of 123.2%. The export value was up by 214.3% year on year to US$109.8 million.
