According to the statistic from Germany, the total output of crude steel in Germany this September was around 3 million tons, increased by 6.6% month on month, which was the second consecutive increase month.

However, compared to the same period last year, the output still faced an almost 10% decline.

The main reason for the year-on-year decline might relate to the epidemic outbreak of Covid-19 from the beginning of this year, which caused many steel mills to shut down, but the market has seemed to be resumed gradually in the recent few months followed by the easing epidemic.
