Global alumina production decreases in Jun

According to statistics released by the International Aluminum Institute (IAI), global alumina production totaled 11.31 million tons in June this year, falling by 4.8% from the previous month and by 4.4% from the same month a year ago. The daily average production in June was 377,000 tons.
In June, the estimated alumina production in China was 6.735 million tons, and the output in Africa and Asia, excluding China, was 1.115 million tons. Alumina production in Oceania was 1.521 million tons.
