Global alumina production rises in Jul

According to statistics released by the International Aluminum Institute (IAI), global alumina production totaled 12.179 million tons in July this year, rising by 4.3% from the previous month and falling by 0.16% from the same month a year ago. The daily average production in July was 392,900 tons.
In July, the estimated alumina production in China was 7.337 million tons, and the output in Africa and Asia, excluding China, was 1.174 million tons. Alumina production in Oceania was 1.628 million tons.
