Hammerer Aluminium to add new melting furnace

Due to the growing consumer demand for aluminum lightweight construction products, Hammerer Aluminium Industries (HAI), a big and famous Austrian aluminum firm, decided to invest €4.5 million to build a third melting furnace for its recycling operations at Santana, Romania.
The recycling and remelting capacity of this new furnace was expected to add 250,000 tons per year. As per their schedule, this new furnace would be put into operation from the beginning of 2022.
The famous mechanical engineering company, Hertwich Engineering GmbH, will install the new third furnace for HAI.
