One of four production lines at Hydro’s part-owned Albras plant in Brazil was shut down due to power distribution failure on February 19, and 25% of capacity was affected.

According to official news on Hydro’s website on February 21, the company is now investigating the cause of the accident and has begun to prepare the production resumption.

The first pots were expected to restart in the early second quarter, and the operation will be resumed to normal in the fourth quarter.
