According to a notification issued by the Indian Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance on December 6, 2021, India has decided to impose anti-dumping (AD) duties on certain flat-rolled products of aluminum originating in or exported from China.

India has concluded that the dumping margin of subject products from China is positive and significant, and India’s industry has been impacted by material injury brought by the dumped imports.

The products involved are classified under tariffs headings 7606 and 7607. The AD duty rate was set in a range from US$0-449/ton, depending on producers. The imposition of this AD duty will be effective for a period of five years.
