According to statistics, in September 2020, India's export volume of bulk hot-rolled products fell by more than 30% month on month. The main reason was the rising proportion of the domestic market and the tight supply caused by the epidemic.

In addition, due to the recovery of domestic demand, India's auto industry sales in September set a monthly record for 2020.

Major Indian steel companies will mainly sell in the domestic market in November and December, so it was expected that Indian steel exports will shrink further in the next few months.
