Iran’s aluminum ingot output hikes in 9 months

According to statistics, Iran’s aluminum ingot production reached 308,000 tons during the first nine months as of December 20, 2020, a 51% increase compared to the same period a year earlier.

During the period from November 21 to December 20, 2020, Iran's monthly production was around 38,770 tons, and the output of alumina powder reached roughly 18,330 tons, down by 2% year on year.

Iran had a plan to reach its annual production target of 1.5 million tons of aluminum ingot by the Iranian calendar year 1404 (March 2025-March 2026).
