Metso Outotec’s aluminum business sold to REEL

Finland-based Metso Outotec announced that it has sold its aluminum business to France’s REEL International, while the amount wasn’t undisclosed by the two sides.

The business to be sold included green anode plants, anode rodshops, casthouses used in aluminum smelters, and relevant equipment and services.

Around 120 employees of Metso Outotec will join REEL. The agreement was expected to take place in the first quarter of next year.
