Copper and aluminum ingots exports hit US$730 million in China. Pakistan earned US$700 million from copper ingots and US$30 million from the export of aluminum ingots in 2020.

Besides, the domestic fan manufacturers asked the government to impose duty on copper and aluminum exports as prices of the product moved up in the international market.

Pakistan's government has provided many tax-related exemptions on the imports of raw materials, so there are sufficient copper or aluminum scrap.
