Since February this year, the US and European countries have imposed unprecedented sanctions on Russia.

On August 10, Kamensk Uralsky Metallurgical Works (KUMZ), one of the famous and biggest aluminum producers in Russia, said that due to some external factors, its export orders in the second quarter of 2022 decreased by 40% to 50%.

Under this situation, KUMZ is doing its best to find solutions to increase the export orders. Currently, the company is planning to shift its exports to Russia-friendly countries such as Southeast Asia.

By the end of 2022, KUMZ aimed to recover at least 90% of its export of aluminum products. Besides, the company will also focus on the domestic market.
