Russia’s stainless production rises Sep

According to statistics from the Russian Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat), Russia’s stainless steel production totaled around 20,700 tons in September, rising by 34.1% compared to the same month a year ago.

In the first nine months of this year, Russia produced a total of roughly 157,500 tons of stainless steel, a year-on-year increase of 3.2%.

During the period, Russia’s exports of stainless steel dropped by 11.7% year on year to roughly 8,700 tons, those of stainless steel scrap were up by 8.5% year on year to around 93,100 tons.
