Russia’s stainless steel imports drop in Nov 2021

According to statistics released by the Russian Special Steel and Alloys Consumers and Suppliers Association (SpetsStal Association), Russia’s stainless steel imports amounted to around 44,100 tons in November 2021, dropping by 2.5% compared to the previous month.

Among them, the imports of cold-rolled stainless steel had a month-on-month decrease of 2.6%, and those of hot-rolled stainless steel were up by 0.3% month on month.

During the period, the imports of stainless steel welded pipes hiked by nearly 6%, those of stainless steel seamless pipes rose by 40.5%, and those of stainless steel wire increased by 15.4%, all on a month-on-month basis.
