According to statistics released by the Russian Special Steel and Alloys Consumers and Suppliers Association (SpetsStal Association), Russia imported around 46,300 tons of stainless steel in May, falling by 10% compared to the previous month.

Among them, the imports of cold-rolled stainless steel fell by 21.5%, hot-rolled stainless steel slightly decreased by 0.4%, stainless steel long steel products rose by 24%, stainless steel seamless pipes increased by 13.4%, stainless steel welded pipes grew by 60%, and stainless steel wire rose by 19%, all on a month-on-month basis.
