SMM A00 aluminium ingot price moves up by RMB20/t; Average alumina spot price loses RMB4/t

On Wednesday, March 13, China’s A00 aluminium ingot price ascended by RMB 20 per tonne to settle at RMB 19,150 per tonne, with the average prices between RMB 19,130 per tonne and RMB 19,170 per tonne. The spot contract price may be traded at a discount price of RMB 50 to RMB 10 per tonne.

The prices have grown in all the provinces except Foshan, which have remained unchanged at RMB 19,110 per tonne. As per the SMM data, the prices in Wuxi and Hangzhou have hiked by RMB 30 per tonne to settle at RMB 19,150 per tonne. On the same day, the price in Tianjin experienced the same growth, arriving at RMB 19,130 per tonne.

The domestic aluminium ingot prices in Chongqing, Shenyang and Linyi have increased by RMB 20 per tonne to clock at RMB 19,120 per tonne, RMB 19,100 per tonne and RMB 19,150 per tonne.
