SMM A00 aluminium ingot price reflects Q-o-Q drop of RMB50/t; Low-carbon aluminium price negates RMB28/t

On November 28, the Shanghai Metals Market witnessed a more or less uniform slump in aluminium prices, with the SMM A00 aluminium ingot price losing RMB 40 per tonne to close at RMB 18,850 per tonne. The average aluminium prices have circulated between RMB 18,830 per tonne and RMB 18,870 per tonne.
If we consider the SMM aluminium price on August 28, we can establish a Quarter-on-Quarter drop of RMB 50 per tonne or 0.26 per cent from RMB 18,900 per tonne recorded on that day.
