On a Month-on-Month scale, the SMM A00 aluminium price has levitated by RMB 750 per tonne from RMB 18,700 per tonne, as recorded on February 26.
The eight major provinces in China have all displayed huge spikes in aluminium prices, with the highest addition of RMB 110 per tonne marked in Wuxi, Hangzhou and Shenyang. The first two withheld a price of RMB 19,430 per tonne, while the last one flashed RMB 19,370 per tonne.
Other than that, all the individual areas recorded a considerable jump of RMB 100 per tonne. Following the prices have been separately specified:
Gongyi – RMB 19,330 per tonne
Foshan – RMB 19,400 per tonne
Chongqing – RMB 19,380 per tonne
Tianjin – RMB 19,390 per tonne
Linyi – RMB 19,400 per tonne
China’s low-carbon aluminium price has scored RMB 683 per tonne on a Month-on-Month scale, recording a price of RMB 20,288 per tonne on March 26, from RMB 19,605 per tonne on February 26. It has soared by RMB 116 per tonne today.
China’s high-purity aluminium (99.99%) and high-purity aluminium (99.996%) prices have both floated upward by RMB 100 per tonne, officiating at RMB 26,900 per tonne and RMB 27,900 per tonne.
