SMM A00 aluminium ingot price turns bullish at October’s end, up RMB240/t today; Low-carbon aluminium price surges by RMB220/t

On October 30, the Shanghai Metals Market experienced escalating aluminium price movements, with the SMM A00 aluminium ingot price augmenting by RMB 240 per tonne to close at RMB 19,150 per tonne. The average aluminium prices have circulated between RMB 19,130 per tonne and RMB 19,170 per tonne.
China’s central eight provinces have displayed heightening prices today, with the aluminium ingot price amplifying the most in Foshan and Wuxi by RMB 240 per tonne, resting at RMB 19,160 per tonne and RMB 19,130 per tonne, respectively. In Hangzhou, the aluminium price has increased by RMB 230 per tonne to stop at RMB 19,130 per tonne, while in Gongyi, the aluminium price has jumped up by RMB 210 per tonne, halting at RMB 19,010 per tonne. The aluminium price in Chongqing has levitated by RMB 200 per tonne, anchoring at RMB 19,130 per tonne. In Tianjin and Linyi, the SMM aluminium prices have seen an influx of RMB 140 per tonne, stopping at RMB 19,100 per tonne each. Lastly, the aluminium price in Shenyang added RMB 90 per tonne to officially close at RMB 19,020 per tonne.
